Audi Radio Code Reset A4

There are 2 types of Audi serial numbers (Audi Navigation Plus see method 2). It is quite simple to remove your Audi radio. You will need a set of radio release keys (PC5-83). These are inexpensive and are around £3 – £5, you can obtain them from a local car audio shop or Halfords.

Audi Serial Number locate in Audi car radios will normally contain a 14 number serial which can be found either printed on a label on the side of the unit. These serials are only visible on once the Audi radio has been removed from the vehicle out. Understanding the information on the sticker is key. All of the installed options are listed in the form of three-digit production codes called “PR codes” as shown on the label above (taken from an 2006 Audi A3). As an example of the use of these codes, assume that an ABS module failed on this A3.

Once you have the radio release keys, push them into the 4 holes in each corner of the radio (See image), apply a little pressure and the radio will release from the dashboard. The radios label will be located on the radio’s casing.
